Ninja Monkey is a web design, custom platform and AI studio based in Asheville, North Carolina. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our website or enquire about a project, and what we do with it.

We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount of technical information gathered automatically when you use the site:

• Enquiry details. Your name, email address, company, the service you are interested in, an indicative budget and timeline, and the message you send us.
• Project records. Information, files, feedback and approvals you share with us during an engagement.
• Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and which pages you view.
• Cookies and similar browser storage, described below.

We do not collect payment card details through this website. Invoicing and payments are handled separately through our accounting providers.

We use what we collect to:

• Reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or proposal.
• Deliver, support and invoice the work we do for you.
• Understand which pages and services people find useful so we can improve the site.
• Keep the records we are required to keep for tax, accounting and legal purposes.
• Protect the site and our studio against spam, abuse and fraud.

We do not use your enquiry details for advertising, and we do not sell them to anyone.

When you submit the enquiry form, your details are stored in our project system and sent to our studio inbox so a person can read and reply to them. Enquiries are used to answer you and to quote the work, nothing else, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.

We keep enquiry details while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can follow up, and then as long as needed for our records. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. Strictly necessary storage keeps the site working and remembers basic preferences. Analytics cookies give us anonymous, aggregated numbers about visits and popular pages. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of our own.

Our hosting, email and analytics providers may set their own cookies when you use pages that rely on them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and blocking analytics cookies will not break the site.

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the studio and this website, such as hosting, email delivery, analytics and accounting providers, and only as far as they need it to do that job.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, where it is needed to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the studio. In those cases we share only what is necessary.

Enquiry details are kept while the enquiry is live and for a reasonable follow-up period afterwards. Client and project records are kept for the duration of the relationship and for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

You are in control of the information you have given us. You can:

• Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete your enquiry or records we are not required to keep.
• Opt out of any non-essential email at any time.

Our work and this website are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.

This site links to third-party services and to websites we have built for clients. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.

We may update this policy as our tools, providers and the law change. The date at the top of the page shows the current version, and continued use of the site means you accept it.
